Vlieland has 2 school locations: 1 primary and 1 secondary, with 56 pupils in total. The most common denomination is Openbaar (2).
No location is rated inadequate, weak or very weak by the Dutch Inspectorate of Education. Most schools have no individual verdict: the Inspectorate mainly assesses a school when it sees a risk.
